Dr. Ch. Tirupathi is a Hydro-climatologist and GIS specialist currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering, Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh. He obtained his doctorate from IIT Hyderabad, a Master's from NIT Warangal, and a Bachelor's from Sir C. R. Reddy College of Engineering, Andhra University. With more than five years of experience in teaching and research, his areas of expertise include Hydro-climatology, large-scale hydrological modelling, RS and GIS applications in Water Resources. His research focuses on modelling and assessing the combined impacts of climate change and LULC changes on hydrological processes and river sustainability. Dr. Tirupathi is currently serving as the Secretary of the IGS Tadepalligudem Chapter, where he has actively contributed to organising and conducting various workshops, guest lectures, and technical seminars. He is currently serving as Secretary (2026-2027 term) and previously served as the Treasurer of the IGS Tadepalligudem Chapter during the 2024–26 term.
