A Three Day Online Faculty Development Program is being organized by the Departments of Civil Engineering in collaboration with Mechanical Engineering and under TEQIP – III, JNTU, Hyderabad on “Advances in Finite Element Methods” from 18th to 20th February 2021 at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology. The event was conducted under IGS students chapter The main objective of the FDP is to disseminate knowledge to the faculty in Advanced Finite Element Analysis (AFEA) by introducing the Finite Element Method to the Teaching fraternity equipping them with the desired knowledge to solve problems in Engineering, Sciences and Industries. The Inaugural Session had Dr E. Saibaba Reddy, Director, Dr A. Padmaja, Principal, Dr G. Sriram Reddy, HoD Mech and Dr Pallavi Badry, HoD Civil addressing the session with an overview on the significance of AFEA
