A one-day seminar on “Engineering Applications of Geotextiles” (EAG – 05) was organized on 10 September 2005. The Chief Guest of the inaugural function was Shri B.B.Saran, Principal Chief Engineer, W.C. Railway, Shri Ashok Shah IAS, CEO MPRRDA had presided over the function and Shri V.N. Purohit, Chief Engineer MES Jabalpur Zone was the special guest of the function.

Chief Guest of the valedictory function was Er. Sanjay Dubey (IAS), Collector Jabalpur. Er. G.D. Rao was Chairman of the seminar and Er. R K Shrivastava was as secretary of the organizing committee.
